So looking on pinterest, I have seen the trend of ombre accents or themes for weddings. There are tons of ideas to find on google or pinterest. So a-browsing I went! I found some really neat ideas and I’m going to share them with you. Ombre is just shading. Either one color or two. It’s,simply taking one color and fading it or combining the two.
Here is a great idea. Use one color (here its pink) and fade it into white. Just go to your local craft stores and find a bunch of different colors of pink and white and go to town! Very dramatic.
You can also take a simple white cake and jazz it up with flowers. Take gumpaste and split it in to fourths. Add one drop of coloring to the first one, two to the second, and so forth. Then start cutting out your flowers and let them dry. Then apply to the cake and voila! Shnazzy.
On this cake, two colors, were used. (I’m not sure if it was air brushed or frosted this way) just add some white accents and you have the perfect cake.
Ombre wedding dress or bridesmaid dress.
Here is a pink ombre inspiration board. Lots of cute ideas.
This cake was made to match the dress. And I love that it is a deep plum color instead of the regular bright purple.
Ok I had to post this cake. One, all these roses, are made perfectly! Two, the fading is perfect with each row of flowers. Three, who wouldbt want a cake that is coveted completely in flowers?
This bouquet was made with cream, yellow, peach, pink and red roses,to make an ombre effect. Very well made
This is a great idea to decorate your, aisle. Very pretty
A backdrop for the cake table makes for a great photo opportunity. This backdrop has different shades of peach. It can also be used for the backdrop in a diy photobooth.
As well as balloons in various, shades of a color.
Diy chandeliers can be made with white, a medium shade and a dark shade. Inexpensive and easy too. Also adds color
Of course you can do it on cookies too!
Centerpieces can be made like this, too.
And last but not least, is my favorite. This ombre fading is flawless. Wow! I am just blown away by this! Well done to the baker who did this.
I hope you have enjoyed this ombre inspiration. Until next time..
